Now let’s get into the Mysterious full review….

Graphics

I really enjoyed the art style for Blue Prince. It really reminded me of the cel shading art or animation. Which was very satisfying for the eyes. Everything looked very clean and smooth. At times the art even gave off a creepy vibe which I’m sure was intentional in some rooms.

Controls Learning Curve

Super easy game to pick up. Learning how the game plays is not the hard part here. The puzzle of trying to get to the “AnteChamber” is the tough part. Mainly the controls are choosing rooms and picking up items.

Storyline

There is a larger storyline here with someone passing away and leaving the ever-changing mansion to a younger family member. But as you travel through the rooms there’s notes and letters that tell more stories. Which keeps you looking for more clues.

Gameplay

Simple but so addictive. You’ll go through numerous days and runs through the mansion. You need to explore certain rooms to get certain items or keys. You’ll come across curses or red rooms that harm your run. There’s just so many wild elements to this puzzle game.

Replayability

LOADS of replayability on Blue Prince. Run after run after run. Your learn more. You get access to more. You shift the blueprints however you can to get where you need to go. There’s alot here.

Final Thoughts

This game is ultra addictive. Exploring different rooms and seeing how far you can get. How much you can discover. It may look like a simple enough game but man this will keep you going for a while. This is really something you can pick up casually to play and just take it on some runs without the stress being hurried by enemies. I really enjoyed this one.
