Get me the suit...today we become......The Hitman.
Players can physically interact with the world of HITMAN in a number of different ways, including opening doors, dragging and throwing bodies, free-throwing items, vaulting, climbing pipes and ladders, free placing items such as the banana, using keypads, turning on vacuums, pistol whipping, punching, slapping, and more.

Now let’s get to the full review
Graphics
Personally, I think it’s important to understand that this game uses the Hitman missions and playstyle but in a more condensed version. Which I don’t think is bad. You can certainly tell the art and graphics are different. It feels a little more like cell shading style. Again it’s not bad but I want to make sure we understand its not the ultra realistic graphics we’re used to on PC or Console Hitman.
Controls Learning Curve
The game starts with a great tutorial to help learn the controls. The VR controls felt pretty good. Grabbing and punching. It felt solid. There’s extra training missions to get more in depth. But it didn’t take me long to get used to everything. One thing I thought was different, the sniping. In some VR games you physically have to look down the sight to aim. This you initiate the scope and its more of a flatscreen view in front of you, which honestly felt a little more comfortable.
Storyline
If you’re familiar with Hitman 3, you’ll be right at home with this game. Alot of the same missions. Same storyline. If you aren’t familiar with the series, that’s ok! There’s enough good story telling here to understand the world of Hitman without going through the other games.
Gameplay
I ‘ve played the console version and obviously this is two very different playstyles. I think you should really go into this with a fresh perspective. If you’re a fan of VR, this game is actually pretty fun. There’s more than one way to complete a mission and it can be pretty hilarious at times.
Replayability
There’s alot of replayability here. The game allows you to make things harder. You can change your style, stealthy or aggressive. Use all sorts of tools. Different ways to assassinate targets. There’s alot to explore.
Final Thoughts
There was alot of backlash when this game first came out. But it seems like the bugs have been fixed. The game has been updated. Which has made it a solid VR pickup. Nothing award winning but if you’re a fan of the series and you enjoy VR I totally recommend it. I picked up a wrench and threw it at a man’s face. You know… sometimes you just have to wing it. Which makes this game fun.
Rating out of 10
The updates and progress the game has made bumps this one back to a 6 out of 10
I hope they keep at it.
