Now let’s dig up this review….

Graphics

Whew boy. Buckle up because these graphics are phenomenal. The facial expressions, the environment, the animations. This is one of the best looking games of the last few years. Loading into the game right away you see deep lush green jungle and it just seems so full of life.

Controls Learning Curve

Everything is easy to get used to in my opinion. The story walks you through learning the controls and eventually gives you different paths to complete areas. So you can choose which way you want to approach, Stealthy or Power.

Storyline

I won’t spoil anything here so don’t worry. I will say this game legitimately feels like you ARE Indiana Jones in the movie. It feels like Bethesda understood at the core of everything the story should come first. Which they definitely have an Indiana Jones type story here.

Gameplay

You don’t just feel like Indiana in the story…. The gameplay gets you fully immersed. From the signature punching crack noises, to using the whip to reach different areas. They got the gameplay down. My favorite thing is being able to collect nearly anything to use as a weapon. As Indiana is that scrappy brawler that will grab whatever he can to get the edge.

Replayability

Even though this is more of an RPG Adventure game. I could still see some great replayability here. There are alot of things to collect. More importantly I really think this is one of those instant classic games that you’re going to want to revisit.

Final Thoughts

This game is a home run for Bethesda. Troy baker nails the voice. There’s many callbacks to the original series. So if you’re a fan, this is a no-brainer. I have loved playing this as an Indiana Jones fan myself. I’ll more than likely play it more than once just to beat the crap out of the fascists as one of my favorite characters of all time.

Rating out of 10

This is an obvious 10 out 10. I just don’t see a flaw with this game at all..
