We're heading across the ocean to the Asian map of Hutan Pantai. Trying all the new features with Farming Simulator 25!
Build a farm along winding rivers and historic grain elevators in North America, surrounded by ponds in Central Europe, or in a lush East Asian landscape filled with rice paddies near a neon-lit port city. Grow crops, tend to animals, practice forestry, and manage an empire of business ventures with farm shops, productions, and constructions!

Now Let’s get our hands dirty with this review!
Graphics
The graphics in 25 have definitely improved with the details of textures and the impressive detail of each weather event. The landscape seems to glow a little more. The fog is super realistic. The best part the more realistic feel of the ground when moving the vehicles through fields or muddy environment. All around an improvement to 22.
Controls Learning Curve
If you’re familiar with the Farming Simulator series you’ll be right at home here. Not much has changed. If you’re new to the series I’d suggest keeping an eye on the top left corner that shows controls whether using Keyboard & mouse or a controller. All around it may take some getting used to. Hell, I still have a tough time with any crane operating. But once you get going you’ll pick it up.
Storyline
Looks like with Farming Simulator 25 you can pursue some missions that serve part as a tutorial and part as a story! But don’t expect too much this is a simulator so I feel like you know what you’re getting when it comes to this genre.
Gameplay
It’s another step up in gameplay. With new maps, new crops, new production lines. There’s quite a bit added in this year’s Farm Sim. Probably the best part about it is the fact some mods have been baked in! For example the GPS mod for year’s past has now just been baked in and called Steering assist. It’s incredibly easy to set up and makes things SO much easier. The AI workers also got a significant upgrade. Although they aren’t the best at Root crops, they are great and nearly everything else. Which allows you to set them and work on multiple things at once if you’re by yourself. So many great additions.
Replayability
This along with nearly every simulator is almost endless gameplay. Farming simulator 25 continues to offer so many things to do that you can sink HOURS into this game. You can also set up your own server with server hosting websites like G-Portal to have the ability for you and your friends to jump on and farm without the need of a single player hosting.
Final Thoughts
This is a welcomed upgrade. While Farming Simulator 22 was great, 25 just continues to add requested features and expands on it’s already superb gameplay. If you’re a fan of the series this is a must have. If you’re new to the series and looking to jump in, this is probably the best at helping you get started with the tutorial missions. You can also learn the game by doing contracts and renting the equipment until you feel comfortable enough to start experimenting with other elements of the game on your OWN farm. All round this is a great addition to the series and it offers plenty of relaxing gameplay.
